My heart goes out to all Filipinos leaving our dear country talaga. From Dubai, you can see how happy they are to come home, and then from Manila, you can really feel their sadness. Their financial status indicated by their luggages and dutyfree bags. Hatracks always full coming home, on the way back, one bag na lang. I had a pax, she seemed like she just had a stroke, she looked young, but you can sense she is new to her state. I could not have the heart to ask, but I helped her in any way I could until we landed in Manila, I asked the ground staff to text her relatives for her, that she's landed, she couldn't text anymore as she was half paralyzed. =(

My prayer is this: that when we finally finish whatever purpose we have abroad, that we all come home maybe a little old, but still healthy and injury-free to enjoy our lives still after all the hard work and sacrifices we've made. To all my fellow cabin crew and other Filipinos abroad, please take care of yourselves. Be careful, we can never be too cautious when it comes to our safety and most especially our health.

And to all those who are in Philippines with family abroad supporting them, I have one request too... magtipid po kayo sa kuryente. mahal ng meralco kakaloka.
