April Roster IS OUt!

Here's what I've got:

London Heathrow- again??? I;m in LOndon evry freaking month...

I've got 12 Days Leave :) - oooohhhh I'm excited :)

And then Male Turnaround

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka - maybe I'll visit Toshila :) and buy some sambal sauce...

And then Trivandum again and AMman again!

ANd then HOUSTON, TEXAS. take it ! take it! give me LOS Angeles or NEw YOrk please!

Just Came Back From Bombay

This morning they changed my duty from Bombay to guess what??? BOMBAY!!! It was annoying coz I was already in my uniform and was about to walk out the door when they called me... I slept again right away after nila ko tawagan...

That 2 Hour nap turned out to be good coz I dreamed a good dream! I was with Piolo PAscual in my dream! hahahaha... and then after my encounter with Piolo, I dreamt I was eating balot! ngakkk weird!

Nway, Bombay turned out to be not so bad because we weren't full anyway. I was rostered in economy for this flight, and I prepared myself for the worst!!! but it wasn't bad at all! I think I get to fly with the best crew on turnarounds... :)

It's really true what they say, that sometimes, it's not the destination or the passengers who make the flight, it's us, the crew who make it.

So I'll keep my fingers crossed till tomorrow coz I have Trivandum next! Ahahahay!

Yesterday was my birthday, today is Vanessa's birthday :) we had dinner at the terrace with claudia and beh. It was simple and fun at the same time. It really is difficult to throw away parties or even just small gatherings if you are cabin crew. Most of your friends are away on layovers and i think only a miracle can make our rosters alike ... :( I miss my friends, but now even if it's just me and sonnie at home, I am fulfilled.

When we went home, I get to thinking about how important it really is for a couple to live only by themselves. There were happy times in our old flat but somehow, the feeling of independence, of simply being on our own, it makes a real difference in our marriage. I think it somehow made both of us feel more grown up, more in control.

But more and more, I am confused why they let us leave without a blessing, they made us leave with a heavy heart, they made us feel that we were making a big mistake. But I am very thankful we made it through, and now, we live our own life, the way a couple should really do.

Missing The Old Days When We Get 5 Days Off Before and After Leave.

I miss it, I really Do. huhuhu

Grabe ang hirap mag plano ng leave. Bawat araw mahalaga. Bawat oras binibilang. Dati pag may 5 days leave ka pwede maging 2 weeks... ngayon, puro legal 1 Day before and after na lang... kakalungkot. Para makapag bakasyon ka ng mejo stress free, atleast 10 days para naman may allowance ka sa napaka stressfull na way of travelling naming mga crew. Standby Forever. Para kong nasusuka pag naiisip ko na mababump off kami ni sonnie. Nde kaya ng sikmura ko. Kung ako lang ok lang eh, pero pag kasama ko asawa ko, nde ako mapakali, paran kong nakadroga ang mata ko naka bright ang utak ko parang time bomb hanggat nde kami nakaupo at nakasara na ang pintuan ng eroplano.

So ngayon, ilang araw na kong naloloka. Pupunta kaming Bangkok. Gusto ko makasakay kami sa Airbus 380, excited ako, pero anak naman talaga ng tokwa, baket ganon, sabi recession, sabi walang kita ang kumpanya pero ang mga flight to Bangkok anak ng tinapa OVERBOOKED FOREVER! anyway, We will take our chances. 4 Flights naman eh. Yung papuntang Phuket pikit mata na kong magbabayad ng full fare, baka naman masira ulo ko pag dun kami nabump off ni sonnie. bka nde ko kayanin.

Tapos pauwi naman ng Manila, Jusko naman ang mga Pilipino, laging gusto ng reunion sa airport. Parang nag usapusap na sabay sabay lagi uuwi!

Haaaay pangarap na lang yata ang mag travel kami ng nde ako nasestress... Kaya dapat talaga pag nagbabakasyon sinusulit eh. Kahet pagbalik ng Dubai parang lantang gulay sa carrefour.

Excited na ko! Dalwang flights na lang bakasyon na kami! Theran at London na lang tapos Bakasyon na! Tapos Manila na to see my family and friends :) Kala mo naman ke tagal ng Leave eh 12 days lang dami gusto puntahan ! hmmmmph!

Battle WIth the Credit Card

We have just moved to a new flat and I am so glad that we get to have our own flat yet again by ourselves =) There are so many things I wanted to buy for the flat like cute stuff from Crate and Barrell and Pottery Barn. I keep going to home decorating shops in Moe and I know the sales people there think I'm crazy to keep on coming back evry time, but not buying... I'm fighting a battle on whether to swipe my card or not. I already did to buy some essential stuff in the kitchen like the stove ( which I love so dearly). I am not used to using my credit card, I'm used to spend only cash, extra cash. I do not and cannot have a shopping spree to make our new flat full of pretty things because I choose to spend as wisely as I could. But it pains me, and I know I can just easily buy anything I like by swiping my card, but I can't cause it gives me nightmares at night. haha. that's how scared I am of the credit card, so, I save layover allowance after allowance to buy stuff I love for the new flat, I know it will take a while, but I'm Proud to have bought lots of stuff already out of layover allowance only =)

Our New Flat In Al Barsha Land =)

This is probably one of the most difficult decision we've made so far in the early stage of our marriage... to find a flat where we can really start our life together as husband and wife... :) we found it! after so many frustrating searching, we finally found it... nothing in it but hopes and dreams and love.
