Awww im soo excited, been a long time since Ive seen a concert =)
OH HAPPY DAY! =)
Woooohooo today I passed the SFS assesment and I am SO Glad it's O-V-E-R !
The thing is when I want something so badly, I go crazy. and the past few weeks ive gone almost totally freakishly obsessive with the assesment =)But now I'm just so happy I made it along with one of the nicest Filipinas girl Ive met in the company, Camz. I hope Bryan makes it too =)
Im so happy Im so scared to get out of the house, Im pouring all my excess adrenaline on household chores, Im just too scared to go to the mall, I might feel to happy and buy myself jewelry! hahaha. =)
kakaloka kung nandon lang kau at nakita nyo ang energy ng lola nyo maloloka kayo saken para akong cheerleader kung mag motivate! hahaha
I look back at what I said and did and natatwa ko sa sarili ko. Well I guess Im just really blessed I can always insert humour in everything I do, pati sa assessment nkakatawa ako. Sabi nga ng friend ko na si cookie mukha ko pa lang nakakatawa na daw. =)
Sigh. Thank You Po Lord, you never fail to answer my prayers and requests, all the Glory is On Your Name.
Nway, ayoko magdrama. Natatawa lang ako nanalala ko sa sabi ni BRyan, sabi nung isang crew sa grooming ID AND HAT IN ITS PROPER LOCATION!!! hehe sa isip ko: PAKI CROSS CHECK NA RIN! hahahaha =)

How I Met My Sonnie
Today I woke up and this guy once again pops up in my head, like every single day of my crazy but happy life. He is annoying, non assuming, kind, loving, ok ok he will be disappointed if I dont mention handsome, and most of all sort of disgusting. You all know him by Sonnie, my hubby. =)
Today I am in my bed in Germany and the weather is negative 4, so I long for his embrace, and the annoying warmth of his breath through my ears. I miss him.
So let me tell you, Here's how I met my hubby.
One night, I was drunk, I met this guy named Sonnie. lol, just kidding. It was June, Ok, so I was drunk, and I was at this party at my friend Beth's house. Evryone was getting drunk just like me. And I wouldnt be able to recognize anybody if you ask me, so that's not how I remember meeting Sonnie. Days before that party I screwed my laptop. And my friend knew about it. Out of nowhere, Cris Jun was calling me, he said Rio, we've got IT guys in the party, call them they can probably fix your laptop. So I looked at all three of the guys he was pointing at. My first glimpse of at my future hubby! They all looked nerdy to me, except this one with the glasses looked extra bit more like a nerd. Ok, I'll call when I'm sober.
The next morning, I couldn't go on the internet and so I called one of the guys. Took my laptop and returned it, it was still screwed. I was not impressed. And so they said, wait, there's this guy, he is really damn good with computers, maybe he can fix it. So I was like, whatever, just get it done already!
My computer was returned by Sonnie. Wearing a big polo and his glasses, and the biggest pile of hair ive ever seen! So, he explained blah blah blah what happened and explained again blah blah blah how it worked again. All I cared about was that I could use it again =) And as a normal decent person, of course, I offered to pay. And he wouldnt take the cash, he said, he'll take a dinner, as payment. His choice of restaurant. And I said why not.
I was meeting this guy, I was treating him for dinner in what turned out to be our first date! Thinking about it now, makes me smile, at how I fell in love with this stingy person who would exchange services for a date! He turned out to be an opportunist as he brought me to an expensive Japanese place and ordered a meal that was worth more the services he rendered. Normally, I would have been pissed, but, I had fun that night. =) That was the first and only time he made me pay for our date, he is a complete gentleman. We went out again, and again and again. And a few more dates, I fell in love. And when I did, I finally asked his age, and by then could not back out anymore. hahaha. he turned out to be the man I would really really love honest, kind, and very generous too, my computer went broken and then ok and then broken again, he bought me a new one that I'm still using typing this very blog. The computer may be old now, but I love it and the memories that comes with it, I just can't let go. Although a macbook pro for my birthday will probably make the letting go easier. =)
Sonnie was my boyfriend for 2 and a half years when he proposed on the night of April 8, while I was half asleep coming back from a teriible flight that had rejected take off twice. He was all sweaty and grrr, annoying, when he whispered Beh and slipped the ring on my finger and asked me, will you marry me? I felt the rock, turned all the lights bright, saw how beautiful the ring was, and then I said YES! =) hahahaa just so me! =) And it just so Sonnie as well, no drama or outrageous proposal, it was exactly what a stingy person would do, propose at home! just kidding. I was looking through his computer and gone through this One Notes when I saw his journal, and read how he found the perfect ring =) It took him a while to find the perfect one, and how he had it customised to suit me. And how he's had the ring for a while and that he wanted to propose on my birthday this and that but couldnt find the timing to do so. Sorry beh, I cracked the password long time ago.
And then we got married after all the fuss that came with it. It was the happiest day of my life =) Our wedding day would always be my "happy place" forever. I could go back to it any day and I would still feel the happiness in my heart.
And now, we've been married two years and 14 days, still annoying each other more and more. Some days are bearable and most days are just lovable. As long as we're together, we will be building memories, investing in fond and memorable memories, growing old, although I grow older earlier, as long as we're together.
I miss you beh. Today i miss you so bad I had to write this to make me feel better. I love you. please don't leave your socks on the floor. Thanks!

Shanghai, China
It took 8 and a half hours to reach Shanghai, and the timing is horrendous. I was really really tired when we got to the bus, but I had an involuntary nap and some episodes of drooling during the ride. I know. I'm disgusting. Everybody looked like a horror story when we got to the hotel. But the nap did me good and the thought of groceries, kimchi, yakult and Ajisen Ramen, gave me enthusiasm! It wasn't freezing yet in Shanghai, and the weather is chilly but nice. =) Before the flight, I packed some winter clothes without thinking. When I was changing in the hotel, ready to go out, I couldn't zip my freaking jeans!!! I was mortified! It wouldn't close, I tried jumping, I tried not breathing, I tried evrything! But it just wouldn't zip the fuck up! SO. I left it open! thank heavens my jacket was just long enough to cover the nasty zip that wont close and my fatness, but shame on myself, I eat like a pig and I expect clothes and old jeans to still fit. Tsk tsk.
My plan was, to buy something my current size so I could go out the next day to do my Christmas shopping with the rest of the crew. And so I did. Im so happy I found a cute pair of shorts that were a little off my budget, considering my budget is ONLY for food but had to reconsider to avoid the embarassment that was about to unfold if and when somebody sees my unzipped ex-jeans. I bought all the groceries I needed and ate at Rajisen Ramen. I could not stop myself from having THE porkchop, my favorite porchop in the whole wide planet... =( I'm so guilty, but I still ate so plenty.
I ordered room service massage hoping cellulites will be massaged away =) And it was sooo sooo good. I recommend their foot massage, it was almost orgasmic. =)
Hence, I woke up at 6 pm the next day, I slept for seventeen hours straight, that's how good the massage was. I wasted money on the skirt and wasted the whole day that was meant for shopping! With only 2 hours left in China, I went out to go to my favorite Veggie Market =)
Just look at all these veggies, SO FRESH and so colorful! =)
And fruits too =) Fuji Apples from CHina haha and kiat kiat!
ANd just because I have not yet shamed myself enough, I decided to stop by at TOUCH. Definitely should not be the store's name. It should be LEAVE!!!! but I couldn't. =(
So I bought "some" of the yummy pastries. I love their egg tarts, and their meatfloss bread. The choco roll and milk cake is not very highly recommended by glutonous me. I freaking ate all of these would you believe! arrrrrggggh!

Mother House, Kolkata, India

I love the quote on Mother Teresa's tomb. Hands to serve and Hearts to Love. =)
I said a prayer to Mother Teresa, a very personal one. That she gives me a change of heart. And I know that she did already. I can't explain what I felt in Mother Teresa's home. I can say that it is not a life changing experience, but it is very moving. To see how she lived and why she chose to be there. She is amazing in every way.
Her smile... can pierce through any one's soul. Next time I'd be in Calcutta, I would love to visit the Orphanage and The Mother House for the Sick and Dying. But for now, I am happy I was able to see the convent where she used to live. I was so happy to see her room, and how touching it is to see how simple and humble it was, I will never forget a note she wrote beside her bed, it said: VOCATION IS LOVE..
Sigh, I know I whine about my job many many times. But these are some of the times that I could really say, I love my job. It was nice to have met you Mother Teresa, your love and presence was very much felt =)
